Dr John Kenafake

Dr John Kenafake is a graduate of the University of Queensland and has been a General Practitioner on the Sunshine Coast for 30 years.
Holding a strong interest in travel medicine for 15 years and a lifelong love of travel, surfing, and having been a diver for over 35 years, John provides knowledge backed by first hand experience.
He has competed in the Great Wall of China Marathon, the San Francisco Alcatraz biathlon, and has is a keen follower of adventure racing activities.
Dr Brett Lynam
M.B.,B.S. (Qld) MSc FRACGP MICGP
Dr Brett Lynam is a graduate of the University of Queensland and has worked in Medicine for over 35 years.
He has worked in rural and remote North Queensland then the Sunshine Coast where Brett gained a love of SCUBA diving.
A decade and a half living in Ireland followed which cemented his love of Public Health medicine and travel.
Having returned to the Sunshine Coast Brett now works with John Kenafake providing wide ranging Travel Health Consultations including TB (BCG) Vaccination, Diving Medicals, Maritime and Oil and Gas Medicals, Occupational Medicals and Aviation Medicals.
Qualifications.
Dr Kenafake is:
a member of the Australian Society of Occupational Medicine with a Certificate in Occupational Medicine [Monash]
a member of the Australasian Medical Review Officers Association (AMROA) with their certificate for Drug and Alcohol testing [Including Hair Follicle Drug tests]
a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine with certificate in International Traveller’s Health
registered with DNRME to provide coal board medicals as an Examining Medical Officer
registered to provide OGUK medicals
has a Diploma from the Norwegian Centre for Maritime Medicine and able to provide Norwegian Seafarer’s Medical
registered to provide Commercial Diving Medicals and Recreational Dive Medicals with SPUMS
a National Rail Medical provider
